Playa Langosta is only an hour drive from Liberia International Airport (LIR) which offers direct flights to and from many major US cities such as Los Angeles and Atlanta (Delta), Dallas and Miami (American Airlines), Houston and Newark (Continental) and Charlotte (US Air). Tamarindo also has a small airport. Major airline service is also available to San José Airport, which is 4 hours drive or 40 minutes commuter airline flight, to Tamarindo local Airport. Local airlines are Nature Air and Sansa.
